John Kerry Interview Tonight

Wow.

John Kerry is going to be on Hannity and Colmes [FNC] tonight at 9:00 PM (EDT). I gotta give the man some credit because he's willing to face Hannity.

It's gonna be fun!

Wow!

Next thing you know, George Bush will go on Bill Maher's Show.

Bush did O'Reilly when he campaigned.

And before someone says it, no, O'Reilly is NOT a conservative. He's more like McCain in that he'll take whatever position generates the most contraversy. (Yes, that's a generalization with tons of specific points it's wrong, it's also fair, I believe, in the 'general' case of how they get the most attention)

The question is, will Hannity get to ASK questions, or will it be one of those deals where Waffles insists that only Colmes gets to talk, else Kerry storms off the set ? This might be interesting...

As long as he doesn't insist on bringing a buddy along...and that it not be recorded.

On Fox News I saw a clip of Kerry on Hannity and Colmes, and it is not what you think. They taped an interview of Kerry with Colmes, which they are showing on the show. Kerry wasn't brave enough to face Hannity.

Damn

I wouldn't say he wasn't "brave" enough to take on Hannity. I might say he was smart enough not to, which is a bit of a surprise, since he tends to rush in where angels fear to tread.

I mean, if you could do a soft interview with Colmes, where the questions are little more than "state your platform, please," OR you could take on one of the men who could pop the bubble of the lies and flip-flops you're hoping will last until November, which would you pick?

Talking to Hannity on national tv might cost him the election.

I figured that's how it would be. That's the same reason you'll never see Hillary Clinton "live" on Hannity & Colmes where Sean has a chance to skewer her (or Ted Kennedy...).

Posted by: Skerdog at May 14, 2004 01:28 PM

I have NEVER seen Hillary outmatched by anyone in an interview. Hannity wouldn't stand a chance against the giants of the Democratic Party. He's not even in the same league as those people. Kerry, like Bush, is not good in confrontational interviews, but Kerry would fair a little better. (Remember How awful Bush looked with Tim Russert?) Face it folks, we are left with two awful candidates to choose from. Nadar is by far the better candidate and better man for the job. (We won't pick him though.) Remember, we left Jasmine in and kicked LaToya London out! What kind of shit is that?!?
