May 21, 2004We Had Another Tornado & More!I will not call Mother Nature a Bitch. I will not call Mother Nature a Bitch. Comments
That really sucks. Well not for me but it does suck for you guys. Hope everyone and everyone is alright otherwise I will certainly feel like an ass for that comment above. ;-) Posted by: James Doney at May 21, 2004 07:47 PMSo far, we're okay. I'm considering building an Ark though... There is another storm due here late tonight and I'm not sure how many times we'll sneak through unscathed - I'm hoping for the best. Posted by: Rosemary the Queen of All Evil at May 21, 2004 07:56 PMEewww.... scary. Good luck, I guess you know the drill, the safe spot, the flashlight, the radio. I'm thankful you and your family are safe. Posted by: marko at May 21, 2004 08:47 PMThanks! Round three is starting up! Posted by: Rosemary the Queen of All Evil at May 21, 2004 10:18 PMWe just had a line of T-storms just pass through the DC area, but other than a buncha trees and a few power lines knocked down in West Virginia, not really all that big of a deal. Hope all continues to go well up there with you. Posted by: Boyd at May 21, 2004 11:00 PMI think we got your storm. When it was done with you it came down 'round Youngstown, where I live. We had our street blocked by a fallen tree, not to mention the trees bent over nearly 90 degrees. Fun, in an o-god-don't-let-me-die way. Posted by: Big Dan at May 22, 2004 12:00 AMRose, what happened this time? Do you guys have a nice basement to duck into for the tornados? Hey, look at the bright side: at least you aren't living in a mobile home... ;) YIKES! I'm glad I don't live in a tornado-prone zone (though I used to live in an earthquake-prone zone). Few things would be more terrifying to me than the sight of one of those funnels, expecially if it was coming in my direction.
