Clinton deserved the rebuke of impeachment, and the mark it would make on the historical account of his Presidency, but did not deserve to be removed from office. Not to mention, it would have given Al Gore the benefit of incumbency in running for President, and after watching his shrill shrieking transformation into Mr Hyde, am EXTREMELY thankful he was not POTUS on 9/11. Her Majesty has a good point. There are different obstacles and challenges to deal with when the children are of parents who cannot speak English. The goal must be to enable them to speak English. The methods would be different for such children than those who hear English at home.

That may be the most insulting thing I've ever read personally concerning me. Who do you think gets the job done in the military? Sergeants make shit happen! Enlisted Soldiers perform the task of winning wars, and I train enlisted Soldiers everyday of my life!! And I don't discuss my political opinions and beliefs with them, nor do I question the orders (even the stupid ones) I receive from officers.

In the next 5 or so years I will become a Command Sergeant Major in the U.S. Army, and I will faithfully serve every President that our country elects. jane m. I read an interesting article about what is happening in China and India with regards to the male/female ratio. It seems that in about 15 to 25 years we are going to see a large group of unmarried men in both countries holding political power. I can't think of anything more dangerous than having the two most populous countries being run by sexually frustrated (angry?) men. These will be men, for all practical purposes, that won't have much in the way of family ties therefore, not much to lose if a war breaks out.

See, being gay would be a perfect sociological/biological solution in both those countries.

My FIRST husband went to Viet Nam (USAF) in 1965.)but as China becomes a world economic power (other Asian countries will as well in time)we will either have to make "friends" with them or prepare to face our next military rival. Slowly but inexorably, they are seeking serious weaponry. As they prosper, we will be a target in time for them. No, I don't know this for a fact. I have a brain and an imagination.
