Interesting...
Did you know that if your baby was really active at night, in utero, he will be on the outside as well? The nurses kept telling me that Draco has his days and nights confused. I think not. Draco kicked me on schedule every night starting at 1am and ending around 5am, so it should be no surprise that I ain't sleeping.

Should it?

Well, maybe you should just take Jake out of school and you can ALL be nocturnal ;) But it's wonderful, right?

Given a choice, I'd sleep from about 4am to Noon daily.

The little guy's probably just taking advantage of the few years before school sets in! :-D

I think the mystery isn't why some babies wake up at night, but why some don't.

This baby was born about the same time as yours Rose. Obviously also c-section too as it weighed 16.7 pounds at birth!
