A package arrived today from Tokyo. Jacob couldn't wait to see what was in it. I mean, it was a package from Japan. It was a gift for Jake and Draco from Sean Kinsell.

What was it? A beautiful Japanese children's book. Jake was just awed by it but he wasn't just awed by the coolness of the book. No, no, no. He was awed by the fact that Sean translated the entire book, by hand, including the illustrations. That took some time and serious effort.

Jake keeps looking at the books and repeating, "I can't believe he rewrote and redrew the entire book, in English, just for us". "You and Dad have really awesome friends".
