They're in my prayers. Bless them and save them. May as many people as possible, and as much of their property as possible, be saved from this disaster. That's all I can say.
Let's just concentrate on keeping Ara safe and finding Gordons family. I wish there were something I could do other than send money. It just doesn't feel like enough. It took all of 5 minutes and it seems I can do more.

I don't need it but I can tell you first hand that it is the most fungible means of providing help there is -- shy of providing shelter in your own home for another family, or volunteering to staff a shelter, or something like that.
And for the record, I'm not blaming Bush for this, nor am I mad that he's not in NOLA in a gondola.
I am, however, not impressed with how he's used the bully pulpit up until about an hour ago.
