I still am not so sure he is gone. Let's keep his return on the table.
I saw that act from a different perspective. I took it as a total power grab on Brees part. What I saw were Rex's kids not being consulted, just standing there listening and knowing it wass no use to talk about what they wanted,as only Bree's feelings matter. Not even considering the fact that Rex too may have chose that tie. It really doesn't matter how others feel, it is Bree all the time.

Rex loved Bree. He loved her no matter what and would've let Bree dress him. And I saw the mother trying to grab power from the wife.

I saw that too Rosemary. And I've been there. Goood have I been there! But in this case, IMO, I think you are right, Rex would have let Bree dress him just to keep the waters still.
Do you think he really is dead?

I didn't until last night. I hope it's a trick.

I think he is really dead. I saw the actor that plays Rex on a TV show and he said he would be back in memories or like Mary Alice, but that's it. I am sad about it. Like I said at the end of last season...I am done with the show if they kill him off.

For a dead man, he sure bent quite easily..

I thought dead people were stiff. He practically sat up in the casket.
I'm not a desperate housewives fan, but after 7 hours of Wiggles, it was a welcome change..

Stop Jerry! I thought that too, hence I thought it was a trick, but Alice says no ):
