More Desperate Than I Thought
I love Desperate Housewives. I never thought that I could see myself in any of those women, until last night.
When Bree argued with her mother-in-law about her husband's happiest time, my eyebrow twitched. When she had decided that she was finished being slyly insulted by this wretched woman, my cheek ticked. When she saw that her mother-in-law defied her and put that stupid tie on Rex's body for the funeral, I glared at the screen almost in unison with poor Bree. When Bree stopped the casket from closing, and took a properly matching tie off a neighbor and marched toward the casket my heart skipped a beat. I saw that act from a different perspective. I took it as a total power grab on Brees part. What I saw were Rex's kids not being consulted, just standing there listening and knowing it wass no use to talk about what they wanted,as only Bree's feelings matter. Not even considering the fact that Rex too may have chose that tie. It really doesn't matter how others feel, it is Bree all the time.
Do you think he really is dead?
I thought dead people were stiff. He practically sat up in the casket.
I'm not a desperate housewives fan, but after 7 hours of Wiggles, it was a welcome change..
