I said it before and I'l say it again, the singers on this show are getting worse and worse.
I'm sorry, but these kids are flat, boring, cookie cutter versions of every boring 12 year old pop singer wanna be on the market. The only originality on that stage are the performers nearing 30, and only ONE of them can really, really sing.
If I hear one more screaming mimi, or one more of these kids trying to find their KEY, I'm going to run wailing into the woods.
I honestly think this show needs to be re vamped in a major way. I haven't watched it since I started hearing these kids really sing. I mean honestly, would you buy ANY one of these people's CDs? Honestly. Would you go out into a store and search for one these people's CDs?
I'm with you Alex. I watch the show, but I've never bought any of their CD's, and probably never will. Of the current crop, maybe...maybe, I would buy Taylor's. That's it. Chris is good, but sounds like a typical rock singer. He needs to get into a band and have it break up before he embarks on a solo career. Mandisa's a great singer, but lacks a unique sound. When she puts out an album, it's going to flop. The rest aren't even good enough to bother talking about. Except maybe Paris, who has a great deal of potential.
And I agree with the Queen. That song that Paris performed was the most godawful thing I've ever heard. She also could use a choreographer. Her dance moves were laughable. I could see where Simon was coming from in his criticism. She looked like a little girl pretending to be an adult, rather than putting in a truly adult performance.
Rose - Its a conspiracy. Cowell knows that when he is nice to people, they get voted out. When he is mean, they stay. He said as much on American Idol Extra. So by him dogging Chris a bit, that was his way of supporting him.
He was super nice to Chicken Little last week and he was voted off. This week he was super nice to Katharine.
On DeansWorld I picked Lisa to be voted off, but I would not be shocked if it were any of: Lisa, Paris, Bucky, Ace or Katharine.
I don't like Pickler because she is extremely fake on live camera. The girl ain't that dumb behind the scenes. Watch her little vignettes when they talk about her songs and family and stuff. There she is normal. On LIVE TV she is fake..

Mandisa will fade big time. And Taylor might as well but I like the guy so I have my doubts.
