Saturday I had a date with Jake. Drake spent time with Grandma so I could devote a few hours of one on one with my big boy. We went to see the Adam Sandler movie Click. We laughed our butts off. Jake and I, much to Dean's dismay, have the same sense of humor. Fart jokes and talking animals will have us in stiches for hours. We barely held our bladders watching the preview of Talladega Nights: The Ballad of Ricky Bobby [watch the trailer].

Jake looked at me and I looked at him and said we've got another date planned. He whispered "I love you, Mom. You're the best!". Right back atcha baby!

We had a nice afternoon, ate popcorn with jalepenos, candy and slurpees. Then I asked Jake what he wanted for lunch and he just smiled and said Thai. Got my little man his Gang Gai and Satay and I snagged lunch for everyone else too.

Ate lunch at home and spent the rest of the day watching my boys play and laugh together.

It was a perfect day.
