Short of pissing some people off, I haven't posted anything I won't defend - even in a court of law. I've never violated OpSec, I've never discussed names, it's rare when I even use initials. My neighbors might not like my blog (who the hell am I kidding, they contacted hubby's commander about it - who wanted it shut down! FREEDOM OF SPEECH IS A GREAT THING!!)

Oh, and screw the humor in my case. I want to piss some people off, pissing them off makes them have to think. You, on the other hand, can be quite snarky but funnier than hell.
This is OT, but I've been reading, "Blogs of war" and it pretty much totally disproves just about everything Tim the Soldier says. Since he won't provide links that say that most soldiers think Iraq is a disaster, I figure I'll just occasionally provide links from the stories in the book. This is also for those who say that the Shiites in the military will always hate Sunnis.
It's from one of the elections. I'm highlighting it for this part
All of these soldiers were Shia, and all of the voters were Sunni, but that didn’t matter to them. For on this day sectarian concerns faded away like the morning mist, and all the Iraqi soldiers could see was Iraqi citizens in need of a cool drink.
Yup, I guess the Shiite soldiers just want to kill them sone Sunnis.
You know, after they've given them a nice drink and maybe a nosh.

Except for the fact that the Soldiers I am talking to are the ones in my unit. Since we conduct a live mission 24/7, most of our Soldiers don't have the time nor inclination to maintain a blog, much less a "blog of war." I will say that the 12-15 Soldiers that I have daily contact with ALL have a negative outlook on the war(s). I hate to say it, but we are going to lose both wars (Iraq and Afghanistan) and we are going to lose because of the Bush Administration.
Blog of War is a book not a blog. It's a compilation of blog-posts from military personel in Iraq and Afghanistan including enlisted, non-coms and officers. Also including different specialties. From infantry, armored, scouts, logistics, chaplains, nurses, Drs, combat medics and corpsmen to a gripping story by an infantryman who's cross-trained as a Combat Life Saver (CLS) which means he's partially trained as a medic who is supposed to act if the medic isn't around. The book is really quite good if very intense. I recommend it to everybody. Especially people who speak for the military.

Your BDS makes you say the most obviously incorrect things. You really should have it looked at.
