Usually when problems like this happen on my page, I find that I've made the HTML gods mad. Check the validator and you'll see there are quite a few things to fix, a handful of which relate to your image.
And I didn't mean to sound pissy... I have a bad cold. I just know how frustrating these HTML tag things can get and wanted to steer you in the right direction before NyQuil steers me to bed. :)
Me thinks they need to send the "validator" through a validator.
Error #2 appears to be induced by the validator finding error #1, as I can see the HEAD tag being opened on line 3 when I look at the HTML source.
I'm still going with the missing "images" directory as "flag_half_mast.gif" is only displaying as its ALT text and "images/queen_minion2.jpg" is kind of washed out.

My first guess is that the folder that holds those images were moved around and the link was broken. I would need to know the link for not just the banner image, but the flag_half_mast.gif, and your RIP image, AND the Minion, AND the Youngelephant image.
Right clicking does give the location, but that is from the last upload. If only the posts are refreshed and not the entire site, those changes would not be included.
This makes your banner very short.
It looks like your images folder is not on the server or empty, or the path is wrong to your images folder.
You have two images folder, one is inside the posts directory and the other is in the parent folder.

works. Both *should* work. You might want to talk to your host about this.
