Wow. The stupidity of girls is not really that shocking. What's worse as the message? Girls don't give a shit they haven't even legally voted for 100 years, the fact they don't know what SUFFRAGE means, or the fact that this is considered a great school by the US government??

I don't know what's more sad.

At least the dude with one of the girls knew what was going on.

Tim_the_Soldier (aka thread killer and nun thriller) (mail):
But then again, who actually uses the word "suffrage." It is no longer a relevant word in our lexicon. It's not sad, it's understandable. Suffrage is not an issue because we all have the right to vote. Wouldn't it be nice to have words like "war" "racism" "discrimination" and "George Bush" have no meaning whatsoever. That those terms would be so unimportant and irrelevant that people would not even know their true meanings.

On the other hand, if those girls from that elite school don't watch out, they're going to wind up marrying someone earning less than $250,000 a year, or worse yet, they may wind up a military dependent - perish the thought, but hey, at least they know the meaning of an unimportant word.

Rhianna (mail) (www):
Ooooh, Tim's pissed because I know a "relevant" word. Ooooh, want me to use some more big ones? I'll even link you to the dictionary so you KNOW what they are. My children could even lend you a few books if you need them...They've read them, understand them, and know big ol' "relevent" words too. God forbid! 4 well educated Wimins that won't be told what to do.

And there's no way in hell your ass makes more than $250,000. But, I wonder if your wife knows how you feel about military dependents. Or is she okay because she's too STUPID to know what the word is???

I am curious though, you do realize what the US Army's directive is on blogging right? And the fact you've identified your command, your assignment location and the fact you work for the big "IA" boys probably wouldn't sit too well with the big boys at the 5 sided building....what is that "relevent" word they call it again???

Oh Rhianna wants to tattle on me...and of course I know the Army directive on blogging, and I have NEVER violated that policy.

Rhianna, why the personal attack on my wife? I have no problem with you saying whatever you want about me (I know I'm a jackass), but don't cross the line in the future. The biggest issue I have with you and your posts is that you come across as a very negative, angry, and conservative hater. Everything you post is negative and laced with genuine BITTER sarcasm. Oh, and when you can't win a debate with you arguments, you resort to implying that the pentagon would frown upon my contributions to the Queen's blog. Don't be such a sore loser. Enjoy life by being happy...be positive. I'm sorry your life didn't turn out the way you wanted. I'm sorry that you're over-educated and underpaid.

I've observed that highly intelligent people who haven't been successful in life economically are often bitter about life and society in general. These types of people are often quick to point out their intelligence, how many languages they speak, their mastery of the english language and mathematics skill. They brag about their IQs, standardized test scores and GPAs, yet for whatever reason, they earn far below what they think they are worth. This is a form of self-loathing that manifests itself in striking out at other with verbal jabs.

Anyway, we all have the same basic goal in life: to be happy. Don't define and measure yourself against the economic achievements of your peers, because if you do, there's bound to be a letdown at some point. I've found that making lots of money is easy, but finding a career and purpose that brings true happiness, now that's the trick.
Of course, I could be wrong and totally full of shit, but I doubt it in this case.

A one degree increase will not mean Michigan = Florida. Maybe a twenty or thirty degree increase.

Hey, Tim, did you see my reply to your nun question?

Rhianna, a gentler way of saying what Tim said would be to note that Pepsi commercials do not berate Coke drinkers. Hmmmm. I have some work needed in this respect.

Anyway, Hillary Clinton is a nice woman, whom I hope has a wonderful future as the first woman President ... of Yale.

Wince is probably right about that: no oranges from Michigan in our lifetime. Soylent Green maybe.

Wince,

My problem is weeding out the hot nuns from the ugly ones when they are wrapped in burkhas. You might think you're getting a nice surprise only to find your nun is covered in nickel-sized hairy warts and moles. Hey, it's breakfast time....enjoy ;-)
