And just so people know, there were early attempts to place the blame on Chinese production sites; however, it turns out in an attempt to bolster protein levels and possibly make their product more marketable, the error occurred on the U.S. side.

That being said, if you love your pets (and why have them if you don't love them), prepare their foods personally. Don't feed them anything you wouldn't eat yourself or feed your children.
