Took the kids to our local church festival. Draco is wild about rides, he loved everything but especially the mini-rollercoaster. I'm really glad to know this because I've been clamouring to get to Cedar Point and now we know we can go next summer. Yay me!

Okay, I'm assuming everyone else konws what Cedar Point is. I do not, could you clarify please? Is it on par with Six Flags/Astro World or is it larger like Disney? Smaller? Geared to young children, everyone, more on the thrill-ride side?

Smaller than the parks you mention. It's on the south shore of Lake Erie near Sandusky, Ohio. All the rides are roller coasters.

Rose -- did I miss anything?

P.S. I went for the first time last summer with my 20 year old son, 22 year old nephew and 17 year old daughter. We had a blast.

I was a deprived child. Never got to go to Cedar Point. Was always told its on Lake Erie which is/was bathtub water, too shallow and lots of fish flies.

But I've been to Jefferson Beach, Dodge Park, Greenfield Village, Belle Isle, Windsor,
most everywhere along Lake Huron (Ontario side), Sarnia, and Port Huron and last but not least Bob-Lo.

So isn't it time to get some fresh apple cider in Romeo ?

Tim, I know I could search for it. However, Rose seems to have a more than passing aquaintance with it and would be more able to provide a personal opinion.

Oh, and don't be a butthead. I know it can be difficult but tell yourself - "I will NOT be a butthead today." and then stick to it!

It's like a 6 Flags. It's a fairly large amusement park that has 19 rollercoasters and much more.
