Don't you worry, we still have 12 and a half months for the Swift Boat Vets to mobilize.
Some scandal, real or contrived will break out to knock Hillary down enough to allow another Dem to get the nod. If Hillary some how sneaks in, the scandal will be just enough to crown another Republican. My guess is that if Hillary gets the nom then Kerry, Edwards or Obama will run as an Indy and fuck her over. Kinda like Perot did to the Republicans in the 90's.

Uh, Perot's entrance never affected electoral votes. Clinton wins both in a walk with or without Perot. There is NO WAY those guys run for President on their own.
Hillary wins and we all win. Unless of course, you hate prosperity and progress as a nation...
I have no idea what you all are talking about. The election isn't until Nov. 2008. Anything can happen before then -- not all of it good for the country, let alone the Democrats.
Watched Hillary on "The View" today, and I still like her.
She has flip flops continually on Iran, maybe the biggest threat to our country today. A lot of that is politics but I can't abide anyone not standing firm for their belief on a core issue. Other than that I think she would be a great foreign policy leader and a good President.

See, here's the difference between you and me: you want a candidate who can tell the difference between flip and flop, while I want a candidate who can tell the difference between right and wrong.
It's true Perot never affected the Electoral votes, but I'm referring to the popular vote stuff. I seem to recall a Dem uproar in 2000 because Gore won the POPular vote, but lost the election due to not enough electoral votes.
The 2008 Election is still 12 months &20 days away. Anything can and probably will happen.
Having Hillary as President probably won't be so bad. Maybe she can do us a favor and appoint Granholm to a cabinet position.
I know Perot effected both candidates, but it was his involvement that prevented Clinton from achieving the majority of the popular vote. Majority meaning over 50%. He came close in 1996.
As far as Granholm as Attorney General, thats a slam dunk. She'd be perfect for the position as she was perfect in that role here in Michigan. She's just in over her head as Governor. But what do I know, I voted her in the first time due to my unnatural love for her mole. ;-)

Who needs her as a presidential experiment ?
Yeah, I know she's gonna send Bill as global ambassador while the rest of the globe sees her as
president what-is-this ?
But, hey, China loves her.
You couldn't talk me into voting for Hillary if she were the only candidate on the ballot. (Oops, that'll be coming in 2012, not 2008.)
I'd like to see Thompson in there, but he seems becalmed in the horse latitudes, so I suppose I'll end up pulling the lever for Giuliani.

Right, with their thousands of nuclear warheads pointed at US cities.

I think if you do the research, you'll find that Perot took nearly equal numbers of votes from each candidate in 1992.
P.S. Cute comment about Granholm. How would you feel about her as Attorney General?

There's another Clinton headed for the white house.
You're a sick puppy, you know that?
