Okay, I've had enough God talk to last me a while. I don't want this blog to turn into SPoDE.

Time to talk about dirty movies or something...

Anyone have any good recommendations? I haven't seen any good ones since Space Nuts and Raw Hide.

Some ppl need to give up the victory speeches and look at the flies in the ointment jar.

Do people still keep ointment in a jar? Oh, you were talking about the famous "Mission Accomplished" speech given a few years ago. That's really not fair picking on the retarded President like that. He thought the aircraft carrier was an amusement park ride. Leave the poor man alone and at least help his party pack up their shit when they leave the White House for good.

I predict we won't see another Republican president for at least 16 years, and that's a sad thing. They are much easier to make fun of.

Mark Adams, who's always correct, get used to it. (mail) (www):
Does the religious ban include a prohibition on the cinematic quality of the groundbreaking, "Erotic Nuns - The Ultimate Taboo!"

Over Christmas, I bought a media PC and remote because I was getting tired of the kids not re-filing the ISO-burned DVDs properly, and wanted everything on disk and instantly accessible.

After a couple of weeks, the SO's TV vurned out, so I gave her my old 32" tube one along with the DVD player that plays ISOs and DivXs, and bought a 42" LCD. Ooooooo.

Now the media PC's 320 GB hard drive is full of movies and TV shows, so I just bought a terrabyte green drive. When I did the math, I realized that was one million megabytes, for significantly less money than the first 20 meg hard drive I bought twenty years ago.

To make a long story short, I'm working my way through everything Hitchcock made, and highly recommend "Lifeboat". "Yojimbo" by Kurosawa is enjoyable too.

Oh, and we all really enjoyed "Juno" (filmed in Vancouver, BTW).
