I want to know, can the UK families of wounded or killed troops in the region sue his ass? Because he just made EVERY UK service member in Afghanistan a bigger target - and the man will have blood on his hands before he's done. Rhianna, thanks for the outrage. What I found interesting is the lack of outrage on the right for what Drudge did. And yeah, I know there was an Australian women's tabloid that broke the story first, one with ties to Murdoch no less -- but not directly. Drudge gave the story world-wide attention.
Drudge directly affected ongoing operations against the very people who perpetrated 9/11, and the folks who cried "Treason!" and wanted the reporters from the NYTimes "Dead, dead, dead" just offered up weak "Tsk, Tsk" at Drudge.
Where oh where are the "Rope, Tree, Drudge" T-Shirts?
Speaking of McCain endorsers, did you know that Bill Cunningham -- the Cincinnati goof-ball John Sydney McCain III apologized for -- replaced Drudge on the radio?
The Reverse Ace had a real shot at making up with the RightWingNoiseMashine after the Times outed his lobbyist/girlfriend, and blew it by condemning Cunningham.
The only places I've seen any real reaction to what Drudge did has been on milblogs, and they aren't very happy with him. At all. The general impression there is that Drudge is guilty of a stupidly egregious violation of operational security.
In fact, the general reaction there is "good on ya, Harry!" for the prince's determination to genuinely serve.
I have to say that -even though I voted for the Dubya- it's nice to see famous offspring bound and determined to get into the line of fire, especially considering your dad is, er, bonnie prince Charlie.
